Pepsodent's "original" toothpaste is pleasant tasting, economical and used by many, many people with satisfaction. It fights cavities better than brushing without any toothpaste; and it contains fluoride. Fluoride is a big plus for keeping your teeth strong. Pepsodent advertises this toothpaste as "specially formulated to help get your teeth their whitest" and it claims that Pepsodent is "not harsh on your tooth enamel." Great! Moreover, Pepsodent comes in a tube that is easy to handle--just squeeze out as much as you need to fit on your toothbrush.Dock it a star--or maybe even a star and one-half--because this toothpaste is just not quite as sophisticated as other toothpastes are. For example, it does not contain baking soda. It does not have enhanced tartar control either. You may want to consider this before buying this brand of toothpaste.
Overall, it's not bad toothpaste; it's just that Pepsodent is not the most sophisticated toothpaste available. However, I personally have used Pepsodent all my life and I never had any problems with it.
I recommend Pepsodent toothpaste for people who are satisfied with just good ol' fashioned regular toothpaste.
