I don't know how long interdental brushes have been on the market but I just discovered them. These are of an average size, not too big or small, so if you have a med to med large pocket(s) then these are perfect. I have had gum issues sense I had braces. It's been 20 years. My dentist had me massaging my gums when I was in my late teens and that did not do anything for the deterioration/receding of my gums. I have started using a toothpaste that has no saccharine and no sodium lauryl sulfate, taking Coq10, flossing and brushing 2-3 times a day. I use a sonic tooth brush as well. I am going to try Dentek's Sonic Pick next. I want super healthy teeth and gums. These are pretty good and I feel like it's 100 times better than using the rubber tip to massage and not really focusing on HYGIENE.With the brushes you get a massage in addition to removing particles and plaque. Do not force the brush through your gums, this can cause damage.
