There is one major difference that most people will overlook and that is there is no Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in this product. There is research out there that this inactive ingredient will cause sloughing in the mouth which can lead to cancor sores or mouth ulcers. I stopped using any toothpaste with that ingredient and it has helped.This toothpaste does have the same active ingredients though. Plus its not as abrasive as other toothpastes.
