Helen of Troy Softouch Volumizing, Massaging Diffuser Review
I have thick, wavy-to-curly hair that with highlights and added color. My hair is cut in layers, so I will not look like the Sphynx or Roseanne Rosanadana (sp?). I LOVE this diffuser because its fingers are long enough to lift tiny to hefty-ish locks of hair, which to me means I can get lift and volume, especially at the crown. This gives me thicker-looking, well defined curls. I do not even have to section my hair, which I used to have to do to straighten it. Also, I do not have to use the hottest setting on my dryer-ever. This diffuser fits an ancient Conair dryer that I can't believe is still alive. The only caveat I must include is that this diffuser may not fit your dryer. That said, there are SO MANY excellent, modern, reasonably-priced dryers out there. You don't have to pay $100+ for one. Also, this diffuser is so good it's been around for, I'd say, probably ten years. It's so good I have a spare. Funny thing is, it used to be $9 on the folica.com site. I think people may be looking twice at this one, because, for one thing, the fingers are long enough and it doesn't smush your hair like, ironically, so many diffusers do.Helen of Troy Softouch Volumizing, Massaging Diffuser Overview
