Just got two of these in the mail a few days ago and finally had the chance to evaluate it. True, I don't have the lab to test for "Swine Flu" but can tell you that this device is way under powered to be effective (it's powered by 2 AA batteries for crying out loud). I took this unit apart for further investigation and it appears to be a single LED light (yes, LED) and some thin wirs which puts this units valuation at about $1.75.I was hoping for the best when I ordered this as the bacteria in your mouth which can consist of herpes simplex I (from people you come in contact with), influenza virus, staphylococci, streptococci, along with other bacteria that may cause diarrhea as well as gum disease.
I have since gone back to dipping my brush in antibacterial mouthwash daily and replacing it every month.
