This is a really nice comb and like the other reviewer, I would have loved it if the teeth were more widely space but upon using in on my natural strands and my daughter's relaxed strands, I found that it is gentle and has not caused any unnecessary breakage. I'm sure it will be a big asset for me as my natural hair continues to longer because it's essential to the health of Afro-textured hair that while detangling it, it's not damaged by a comb that would cause breakage and too that it distributes the natural oils to the ends of the hair something a plastic comb cannot accomplish."Country Gent" Wide Tooth Horn Comb Overview
