Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Toothbrush, Rechargeable, Pro Clean Sonic Recharge Review

My periodontist challenged me to improve my gums in a month. I had 6mm and 7mm deep pockets, and I had to improve my dental regime. I purchased the Spinbrush Pro Clean Sonic Recharge. After one month of use I am happy to report that my Periodontist Ira could no longer find any pockets in my gums, and that the improvement was remarkable. I had been anxiously waiting for Ira's report to write this review, even though I suspected that the results would be very good.
So right off the bat, let's just say the Spinbrush Pro Clean Sonic Recharge, along with a new rechargeable Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless Rechargeable WP-360W, have saved my gums and teeth, and a lot of money on Periodontist bills (I have 4 implants already). Not only is this rechargeable Spinbrush Pro Sonic inexpensive, with very reasonable replacement brush head prices, but it's also fun to use. It's shaped more like a manual toothbrush, so the head is much bigger than Sonicare. The first few seconds I use it like a manual toothbrush, turned off, spreading the toothpaste around. Then I turn it on, and it's "off to the races". Those little brushes micro-sweep with great gusto. It even has a special edge that is used to massage the gums. It has four lights that mark the time every 30 seconds up to 2 minutes, when the unit turns off; the 30 second pulses are had to notice.
I don't use much the quadrant brushing method Spinbrush suggests, but I do use the LED lights for timing. the 4 led lights go on while it is charging; it is well made and sturdy, though light. You will feel that you brushed your teeth and gums very well after using it.
This unit has a strong "micro-sweep" action; the brush, handle and charger are very easy to clean. The base charger is like a donut, so it doesn't collect all the gunk like the older brands. The color and design are very attractive; the handle is ergonomic; they warn that the batteries don't last forever, and are recyclable so I'll have to buy another one in a year or so no big deal-> Highly recommended!
