I got this as a sample from my dentist. After reading reviews, I am scared to buy other flavors! This flavor tastes good to me and I am a bit picky. I haven't noticed the freshness lasting beyond the first time I eat or drink, but it does feel fresh. Actually, once I brushed extra long while I was walking around the house and it started to burn like Listerine does--had to run to the nearest sink to stop the freshness--LOL! Don't take that as a negative--with normal use it seems great and I'm a big wimp about mouthwashes.Does anyone know if the Pronamel and/or whitening versions actually have different ingredients? This one lists Potassium nitrate (5%) and Sodium fluoride(0.15% w/v fluoride ion). I could use extra enamel help (used to eat too much citrus), but this seems to be helping my sensitive teeth and I don't want to mess with finding another good flavor if I don't have to.
Also FYI, I am used to Colgate Total Whitening Gel. I'm not saying they taste the same, but it gives you an idea of another taste I think is pretty good for toothpaste. And... I don't think my sensitivity was really that bad yet, but I think there are lots of other reviewers that will tell you Sensodyne helps with highly sensitive teeth.
