Dentemp is obviously not intended to replace the dentist but rather to serve as an emergency assist until you can see one. Keep that in mind, and you'll likely be happier with the product and more forgiving of it's negative points. Like very messy to install into a tooth - unless you have a straight forward loss of filling or something similar. And unless you have someone to help, it's probably going to be very difficult to see what you're doing. You'll end up with lots of little pieces of the Dentemp in your mouth when done. It's a two part mix, powder and liquid and getting the consistency right is a challenge, at least the first time out. A missing filling should be easy to fill and keep the Dentemp confined but if you have a tooth with a broken piece, or a crown that's come loose you'll find it difficult to get the cement where you need it and keep it there until it cures. Once set, it is a fairly sturdy repair for a few days max. Then you'll start to find small pieces of the Dentemp in your mouth and eventually it will all come out. You can eat on it, but not just anything you want. My experience is you should try to stay away from most things other than soft food on the filled tooth.
