This roller set is perfect! With other hot roller sets, I've had difficulty keeping the bobby-pin style clips in (I have thick hair). I tried another set of rollers with a jaw-style clip, but the clips left impressions in my hair. The clips in this set are very easy to use and stay in place. I like the variety of roller sizes too. I read a review (on another site) mentioning that the set does not get hot enough. I had that impression too until I realized I had the switch on the "standby" setting. Plug the set in, turn the switch to the "in use" setting, and you'll have hot rollers in under 5 minutes. If you leave the set "in use" for longer than that, you will have piping hot rollers.
