I ordered this thinning shear from Cosmetic Solutions, trusting the company's good reviews. Their return policy clearly states "We can refund your original shipping charges." When I opened the scissors and closed it without any hair in it just to try it out, I was surprised how it caught couple of times. If it's not operating smoothly without any hair in between, I can just imagine how tiring it would be to try to thin out my daughter's thick hair. Also, there are rectangular gaps on the side of the scissors close to the screw where hairs can get caught and hard to clean. So I complained to the company about the poor quality of the product, returned it, and requested full refund. No email or call from them about the return of the product. Later, they refunded the price of the product but not the shipping cost. When I complained through Amazon, I finally got a reply: they "found nothing wrong with it" so no refund on shipping. So if you want new scissors that does not stick, avoid this scissor.
