The GUM Micro Tip toothbrush lets people use soft bristles to stimulate gums and get off food residue from your teeth before it can turn into plaque or tartar. The soft bristle toothbrush was recommended to me by my dentist. I also like the design of the toothbrush which makes it easier for me to reach into all the areas of my mouth to clean my teeth and stimulate my gums.
I still have to use floss or a gum stimulant with a rubber tip to remove food particles after brushing with the toothbrush. Ask your dentist what they feel you should do regarding flossing--how many times per week, etc.
If your dentist recommends this, good for you! There's no one right answer for everybody. I am very satisfied with this toothbrush--it cleans my teeth and stimulates my gums very well.
