Kretzer 6.5 Inch Texturizer 42 Teeth Stainless Steel-made in Germany Review
I bought these to thin out my hair. Stylists in my city aren't good like they are in SoCal. Do a thin layer of hair in only the areas that get thick. Do extra thin layers as needed to avoid over-thinning. You will want volume in top but get the bottom where they poof out. Cut more of the hair in the back b/c that is where the bulk of the hair is.They work by cutting tiny bits of hair, so small that you won't notice them gone, out of a lock of hair. The strands that fall in the slots of these scissors won't be cut. That way you get less weight and unwanted lower-body poof, without looking chopped up. All these do is Make hair thinner, they do not give texture or anything else.
NOTE: If you cut too much, your hair will be thin and that's no fun either. The closer the top of your head you cut, the more you risk being stuck with log-term overly thin hair. The goal is to relieve poofy ends while giving some volume back to the top the head (by removing weight from the bottom and making hair less heavy). Do random bits of hair towards the ends going all the way around.
ALso, these will give you split ends on the bottom, so the less you have to cut, the better. The more hair you try to snip in these at once, the more split ends you will have because the cut will be less sharp. Start small!
