I have been using tooth powders for a while now, per recommendation by my holistic dentist, to avoid the glycerin and fluoride in pastes and to help my teeth remineralize. I switched to Solay after discovering that my former tooth powder, Eco Dent, didn't rate so well on the Skin Deep Database. Solay, on the other hand, rates very well and I liked their ingredient lists. I was also pleasantly surprised by the flavors I tried (Tangerine, Spearmint) and even my kids like them. Before I use the tooth powder, I disinfect my teeth with a few drops of Oregano oil on my toothbrush. Then I use a little tooth powder to remineralize my teeth and don't rinse my mouth.
