I used to hate flossing until I tried Glide tape. It was not my mom's floss: it was so smooth and I didn't have to worry about shredding. But after a few years, I noticed I started getting stains between my teeth. Prior to my 6-month cleanings, I looked like a an old witch who smoked and drank coffee nonstop... when I don't do any of them! Only a deep cleaning would get rid of it. I was really concerned.Then, I changed dentists. I asked my new guy about my stained teeth and he said, "Well, I'm no mind reader but I'm gong to guess you floss with Glide, right?" Then he explained that Glide has a substance that attracts stains! But before I decided to join the un-flossing crowds again, he recommended G.U.M. Butler floss. He gave me a few samples; some tasted like mint, others like bubble gum and then, the Expanding version. Oh, what a bliss.
It is very thin, like a skinny tape, but after you use it, it expands, removing everything between your teeth! But the best part is that the portion you just used is now expanded, so you know you should use a new portion for the next teeth, so it never shreds and it's very hygienic.
The bummer is they don't sell it in stores, but lucky us, we have Amazon!
Now, not only have clean teeth, but I have a smile of whitey pearls that last from one dentist visit to the next!
