I searched high and low for a toothpaste that met all my needs -- SLS free, with calcium, xylitol, baking soda, and myrrh -- with no luck. I thought I would be relegated to making my own. Finally, I found SilvaFresh! It cost an arm and a leg at the store, but I figured I could price shop if I liked it (yay Amazon). Boy do I! It tastes great, has a perfectly soft consistency, and only healthful ingredients. It even has vitamin K, which is great for your teeth, but I never thought to apply it topically (I take the vitamin); even if it doesn't do much, I'm still ingesting a bit of it, so it can't hurt anything. I recommend this to anyone concerned about mouth pH, healthy gums, strong teeth, and killing bacteria. The silver even keeps my breath fresher after I eat because my tongue can't become a breeding ground for that bacterial plaque-gunk that you have to scrape off. It's been days and whenever I go to brush my tongue, there's hardly anything on it. It's never been really bad off, but still, I notice a difference.The only downsides are that one tube doesn't last very long, and it doesn't do a thing for whitening your teeth. You can't have it all, I guess. This is as good as it gets, the perfect toothpaste!
