It does a very good job in texturizing and blending your hair. The biggest concern I had before buying this product was the quality but you can be rest assured that it will be of the highest quality. The steel stays very sharp and it is highly rust-resistant. They don't say made in Germany for nothing. I had these for 5 years, they work just as well as the day i bought them and I expect to continue using it for many years.The way I use this product is that I first use shears to cut my hair to the right length, then I use the texturizing shears to thinn out the hair (make it lighter and give it more volume). I also use it to blend the hair around the edges to give it a more natural look. (I have very straight asian hair with thick strands)
