What a great product, whitens while you brush with this very cool light built right into the bristles. I've used it several times already and can see a difference. Kudos to the guy that invented this product, so simply yet effective. I was using Crest White Strips but they got so expensive, this is a one time cost of 40 dollars and it lasts for six months or until you need a new cleaning head, but even so they're not expensive. Hope this helps...PS: As a side note: Remember to clean the light periodically with a q-tip.
