Custom Dual Laminate Teeth Night Grinding Guard Review
The company is correct in describing the 2 step process of making the mold, then they send you the night guard. Unfortunately, the night guard does not align with my teeth. It is slightly smaller than my mouth so my front teeth sit on the edge of the guard.I emailed Sporting Smiles' Customer Service and they responded the guard is tight "like a new pair of shoes" but I should keep wearing it for a few weeks. Well, the night guard is plastic and does not stretch like leather shoes! My teeth are numb and very sensitive throughout the day from forcing the ill-fitted guard into my mouth. The company initially offered to add a "spacer" to help the guard fit better if I continued to have problems. I have sent several follow-up emails and Sporting Smiles has not answered any of my emails. They do not offer a telephone number so there's no live person for me to speak with and no mailing address provided so there's no one to whom I can write a letter.
Extremely poor customer service and a waste of money. I've spent $70 on a night guard that I cannot use because it is painful and doesn't fit. Better off paying a real dentist for a night guard that is guaranteed to fit. I have had my original night guard for over 15 years! You get what you pay for!
